On 24 April 2010 Aart Benjamin was born, son of Helma and Javier, brother of Marti and Inti. Suggestion on the birth card was to donate for the fund.

Joke Martens has been asking friends and colleagues for goods for the fund since two yeas. Thanks to the huge response, Ine could now deliver a bag full of teddy bears in CNF Nepal.

When Barbara left The Netherlands to volunteer for DCF in Ecuador, her family and friends spontaneously contributed to the Child 'N Family center in Ambato.

Before she left for Ecuador, our volunteer Merel explained to family and friends what she was going to do in Ambato. They all reacted enthusiastically and we received quite some donations!
15-02-2010 - Loes Donates Lawn Mower
In November 2009, Loes - the sister of our chairman Helma - came to visit her family in Ecuador. Of course she also went to our CNF center in Ambato; she helped in the garden and decided to donate money to buy a lawn mower.

During their holidays in Ecuador, Richtje and Mark have made beautiful images for our Danielle Children's Fund. For the Ecuador album on our website and to make a small movie.
15-12-2009 - Painting in CNF Ambato
Ashley, Austin, Simon and Laurence have been painting in the Child 'N Family center in Ambato. The buildings are now practically ready for the Temporary Institutional Custody program which starts in January 2010.
14-11-2009 - Do It Yourself Holiday
Joke and Erik were on holidays in Ecuador and took plenty of time to do some remodeling in our Child 'N Family center in Ambato. They painted the arts and crafts rooms for the children and colored two beautiful murals.
12-10-2009 - Donation After World Trip
During their world trip, Fons and Margreet met our secretary Ine in Ecuador. At the end of a year full of adventure, they decided to donate part of their charity money to DCF.
15-09-2009 - Party Anne-Lise and Ingrid
On 5 September 2009, Ingrid and Anne-Lise invited their friends to a party in Antwerp.
They suggested their guests to donate a gift for DCF.
That resulted in a nice
amount for our Child 'N Family center in Ambato.
14-08-2009 - Dentist Saskia in CNF Ecuador
From 9 till 11 August, dentist Saskia volunteered in our Child 'N Family center in Ambato and checked about 60 children's teeth. In the meantime, her boyfriend Daan made a puppet theatre and a painter's easel.

Anneke Martens-Amery turned 65 on 14 March 2009. She celebrated this special event on the 2nd of July 2009. Instead of giving presents to her, the guests donated gifts for DCF. We received a fantastic amount for our projects in Nepal.
01-05-2009 - Secondhand Supplies
Helma and Ine both went to Europe this year, not only to visit their family and friends, but also to see the DCF sponsors and update them on the projects. From a lot of people, they received secondhand supplies for the projects in Ecuador.
15-03-2009 - Marriage Marieke & Bas
When Marieke and Bas got the idea to donate their wedding gift to a charity, they thought immediately of Ecuador and Ine. They finally decided to choose the Child 'N Family center in Ambato as the goal for their contribution.
20-06-2008 - Retirement Patrick
On 20 June 2008, Patrick Dewilde retired of the university TU Delft. He was honored with a symposium, reception and dinner. Patrick's family, friends and colleagues donated generously for the DCF children in Ecuador and Nepal.
31-05-2008 - Volunteers
In May 2008, four enthusiastic British girls volunteered in Ecuador through DCF. Furthermore, they raised money, collected second hand books and started donations on a regular basis for our Child 'N Family centers in Ecuador and Nepal.
16-03-2008 - Birthday Ine
On 16 March 2008, our volunteer Ine turned 37. She celebrated her brithday with the children of our center in Ambato. The gifts for her brithday from family and friends, were donations for the CNF center in Nepal.

Our treasurer Nicoline van Egmond has a very creative mind. She makes beautiful paintings and cards. On a continuous basis, she donates part of the revenues for our Child 'N Family centers in Ecuador and Nepal.
